Produced compelling imagery (still and video) for a daily English-language newspaper (www.thenational.ae). In addition to working locally in the UAE, I was dispatched overseas for assignments in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Algeria, Tunisia, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar, France, Lebanon and Egypt.

Produced photos for a daily newspaper (www.dailycamera.com). Filled in as photo editor as needed, supervising photographic needs of the paper such as assigning photographers to assignments, and attending budget meetings to discuss the following days news coverage.

Part of a team of 14 photographers who covered the state of Colorado, from the Denver Broncos football team to water and mineral rights issues in rural counties.
Assess image quality and composition to edit photos and select appropriate images in deadline-oriented environments
Compile photos to deliver relevant and timely assets to stakeholders
Write captions and metadata that accurately identify subjects, dates and locations; conform to house style and formatting, and facilitate proper archiving

Crop, color correct and archive photos using Photoshop, Photo Mechanic, FotoStation, Aperture and Lightroom

Employ social media (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook) to direct traffic and optimize content delivery
